Ongos Valley is on the edge of Windhoek, located in the northwestern corridor just 14 kilometres from Windhoek’s Central Business District (Kleine Kuppe is 12 kilometres in comparison), west of Nubuamis and directly north of Daan Viljoen. We understand your concern, but we would like to assure you that our residents’ safety and security is a top priority for us. Currently, access is from the Daan Viljoen Road via Otjimuise Road, or the B1 via Monte Cristo Road, but as the development grows we will upgrade existing roads to double-lanes, and build an additional direct access road which will ease the traffic flow and allow for multiple points of entry into Ongos Valley.

Currently, all the water used during construction is sourced from the river flowing through Ongos Valley. This water has been tested and declared fit for use only in construction, but not for human consumption. Therefore, there is no impact on the potable water supply. Furthermore, the Ongos Valley project has gone through a rigorous environmental impact assessment process and has passed all the necessary approvals.

Have you ever had to commute 30min to work? Or having to leave much earlier than necessary to avoid traffic? Make sure you stop by the shop on your way home because there is none close to your house? Have your children cycle, walk or carpool many kilometres to school? If so, you can experience the benefit of Ongos Valley as a designed “1km walkable city”. This means that within only a kilometre from your home there will be all the necessities of life, while not feeling like you are living in a “concrete jungle”.

The Rent-To-Own programme is an innovative way to allow individuals to become entry-level homeowners through an Installment of Sale Model. You enter into a 5-year agreement of instalments and at the end of the term, you buy your home at the same price as at the beginning of the term.

Six types of Free Standing Homes are currently provided, ranging from 61.4m2 to 100m2 in core unit size. Thirteen types of apartments are currently provided, ranging from 21m2 to 66m2 in core unit size. Single Residential units will be 119m2 in core unit size. However, it is also important to note that the houses are designed to be flexible to allow for extensions and additions over time and every unit is unique in terms of erf size. It is, therefore, best to visit the sales hub and speak to one of our consultants in terms of available options.
